After LEDs embedded in jackets and coats, now it is embedded in skirts. LED lights are embedded in the skirt to light up the thighs of the the user, according to a report by Rocket News 24.
The LEDs are embedded along with gyro sensors that enable changing of colors of the LEDs depending on the movement of the user. As a result, the skirt changes to a variety of colors and patterns.
The miniature gyro sensors can sense the rotational motion inside the skirt. In other words, every time the user of the skirt moves, the pattern of lights and colors in the skirt also changes.
Amano, who designed a similar prototype skirt last year, designed the Hikaru skirt as well. The skirt is expected to be mass produced this year.
